LensOffers is a commercial publishing project operated by DIGITAL CATALYST SOLUTIONS S.R.L. We plan to support the site in part through affiliate advertising if suitable merchant relationships are established.
The current site
The current guides contain no commission-paying retailer links. Retailer price comparisons are planned and are not available yet. References to manufacturers and links to technical sources do not mean that those organisations are LensOffers partners.
How affiliate links would work
An affiliate link is an advertising link that can allow a merchant or network to attribute a visit or purchase to LensOffers. Under an agreed programme, we could earn a commission when a qualifying action takes place. The applicable retailer or network would determine the programme’s terms.
Clear labels where they matter
If affiliate links are introduced, we will identify the relevant links and associated commercial content clearly as advertising before you engage with them, using wording such as Ad — affiliate link. Where an entire article is advertising, that will be clear before you open it as well as on the page.
This disclosure page will not replace prominent labels on the relevant content. We will also update the privacy notice to describe any resulting changes to how the site handles information.
Editorial decisions
Commission does not buy a favourable recommendation. Any sponsored placement will be labelled, and any future comparison will need to explain its coverage and method. See our editorial policy for the distinction between research, testing and commercial content.
